Storage for students and people working away
Between terms, on a contract offshore or abroad, or giving up a rented flat for a few months: sometimes the simplest plan is to put everything in one place and come back to it later. A 20ft container is big enough for a whole flat, and you can arrange it all online from wherever you are.
- 01
A whole flat, or a few of you sharing
At about 160 sq ft and 1,100 cubic feet, one container takes the contents of a 2 to 3 bedroom house. Friends or flatmates can share one container and split the weekly cost between themselves.
- 02
Set up from anywhere
Book online, pay the deposit by card and set up the weekly Direct Debit without a phone call, so it can all be done before you leave.
- 03
No long contracts
Pay weekly while you are away. There is no long contract to sign up to.
Packing tips
- If you are sharing, agree who books and holds the gate PIN before you load.
- Label boxes with your name as well as the contents.
- Empty, defrost and dry fridges and freezers fully, and leave the doors slightly open.
- Keep a photo of the layout on your phone so you know where things are when you come back.
